Mega thankyous to everybody that attended the Bevra drags and show.

We had great racing in every class, and most importantly had a lot of fun. What a way to start the racing season!!!!

Special congratulations to the Jim Adema/Wayne Koomen Memorial Cup winner Steve Hugenall and his lightning quick SRX. And a tip of the visor to runnerup Dean Kissinger. Top notch racing exibited by everybody involved.

And a very special thank you goes out to Patti (Adema) Senneker, Cindy, Greg, and Bruce Koomen, Cliff Dayton, Cliff Dayton Jr., Sid McNees, Dana Wiltse, Pat Lusk and to all the other gentlemen who brought their Sno*Jet Thunderjets to help make our memorial to Jim and Wayne an incredable success. Thank you so much for your support!!!!!

Photos and race results will be posted soon.

Thanks again eveybody!!

Sounds like the rain held off for the race. Really wish we could of been there!! Need to save $$ so we can race this winter. Also, just didn't get the scorp race ready this year yet.

Glad to see it went well!!!

Great job by Maxi and all of the BEVRA staff to put on a first class event. A special thanks to Sid for his efforts with the Jim Adema/Wayne Koomen display. I was wonderful to look through the stuff of the greats of our sport. Being a Sno-Jet fan made it really neat. Thanks again to all and hope to see everyone up in our part of the state at the end of Sept.

You said it, Matt. Without Sid's first-hand knowledge of the "Sno*jet Central" players and how to contact them, most- if not all- of what everyone saw (and hopefully enjoyed) would not have been possible. Thanks a ton, Sid.

Thanks Ron Knapp for securing the Phantom (and to its owner). That sled spent mucb of its early life at the Koomen dealership- and was as much a part of "Sno*jet Central".

Also, I want to personally thank Cindy, Bruce, and Greg Koomen, Cliffy and Cliff Dayton, Jim Terpstra, Dana Wiltse, Harvey Gould, and Patty (Adema) Senneker and her husband Bob Senneker (and others) for taking time out of their busy schedules and making this event such a success and a distinct pleasure to attend. Thank you Cindy and Greg Koomen and Cliff Dayton for meeting with me and going through all of those priceless pictures and other memorabilia. Cindy, your display of the racer's pictures and related documents was simply awesome. Thanks for refurbishing the ORIGINAL "Sno*jet" letters off of your Dad's dealership and for allowing us to use them in our display.

Thanks for the memories.

ChaparralChick,

I believe Ron Knapp owned one of them. I'll get you his number when I find it.

I wanted to take them home. Attention to detail was incredible. Very nice Yammies.

Glad you could get away on a Saturday. I would like to see some Sunday activities also for the folks who can't attend on Saturdays.
