If bevra is going to put on a race at nelsons, wondering if you guys, put longer studs in or race with the oval setup. I'm putting a new track on, for the oval season, and probably would do that this fall. Thats why I'm thinking of running the oval setup, wondering if you would get too much spinning, with the 3/8" above the lug? thanks _________________ Wright Racing #74 |

Bernie,
We're planning on it and have been in contact with Jack Nelson.
As far and stud lengths, 3/8" has been the rule. Unless you have super-gargantuan torque and poor (too little or too much) weight transfer, you should hook up just fine on the grass. Very few people experience excessive spinning at that track although I have seen it on a few occasions.
Hope to see you out there. _________________ Sometimes you need to slow down to go fast, sometimes you need to turn right to go left, and sometimes less is more... |
